Reasons I Needed a Healthy Lifestyle Change

I want to look in the mirror and love what I see looking back at me.
I want to go to the doctor and not be embarrassed to get on the scale.
I want to sit down without having to immediately pull my shirt out to hide my stomach.
I want to be the one men compliment when out; rather than hearing, “YOUR FRIEND is beautiful.” Yes, I am selfish and want that attention.
I want to go swimsuit shopping with my friends and actually participate.
I want to be able to wear tank tops and short sleeves without feeling like I need to wear a cardigan or zip up hoodie over top – even in 90 degree weather.
I don’t want to hide behind objects/people in pictures.
I don’t want to constantly position my purse in front of my body.
I don’t want to worry about finding “Mr. Right” and then not being able to do girl things like wear his t-shirt to bed – I want it to fit.
I don’t want to be the overweight sister, overweight daughter, and I don’t want to be the designated fat friend.
I don’t want to dread buying clothes because I know it will end with my crying in the dressing room.
But, most importantly–I want to look on the outside how I feel on the inside.
And I want to be able to say that I live a healthy lifestyle and I take care of the ONE body I was given to live in.
